Whom do we help?
Our service is designed for young people who want to come to Lake Geneva for a language exchange, an internship or a semester at the EPFL and who need a reliable first contact point.
What we offer
- Individual selection of homestay families, tailored as much as possible to the requirements of the the student such as pet allergies, food intolerance, vegetarian, gluten and/or lactose free diets
- Experienced host-families, selected carefully according to high standard
- Individual welcome at the station/airport, accompaniment to the host-family
- Assistance with logistic difficulties including residence permit, public transport passes and health insurance
- Regular contact with student and host-family in order to guarantee both parties' satisfaction.

About Us
Christina Cornes placed over 1’500 students into home-stay families over the last 15 years in her capacity of a family coordinator for US student programs. Her duties consisted in selecting and coaching host-families and then attributing students into them. Throughout their 3-months semesters, she assisted them in all matters related to health care, permit and public transport.
She has a reliable network of experienced host-families in the Lake Geneva region.
Christina holds a bachelor of arts degree from the UNIL in Lausanne. She worked as an assistant manager to the Tropical Forest Officer in IUCN (WWF) before living in Australia for 2 years. She moved back to Lake Geneva with her three adult children and husband.
She is fluent in English, French and German.

Tarifs
As a guest-student you will have to pay the following:
Homestay Coordinator:
CHF 450.- one off agency fee
Homestay family compensation:
CHF 250.-/week half-board
CHF 200.-/week room only
